Age UK Waltham Forest provide a wide range of services for older people living in Waltham Forest and their carers.
Alzheimer’s Society offer support services for people with dementia, their families and carers. They provide information and support about dementia and offer other related services.
The Anatolian Centre offer advice, social and cultural group for the Turkish/Kurdish community. Advice on benefits, health, housing rights, racial harassment, education and training. Support for new arrivals including English language courses. Turkish language school for 16-19 year olds. Women’s group. Elders day club with free meals.
Advice and information for Asian people with disabilities, their families/carers. Subjects include benefits, disability issues, translation. Monthly information meetings for mothers of children with learning disabilities. Classes for carers. Trips and outings. School holiday activities/inclusive playschemes. Weekend play scheme. Respite care scheme. Educational toy library.
Branches is a hostel for homeless people in the area which also provides additional services including; Primary health care, Benefits Advice, Alcohol and Drugs Outreach, Employment Opportunities, Mental health support and Counselling for the homeless.
CDAT (Community Drug and Alcohol Team) provides confidential drug and alcohol services for residents of Waltham Forest aged 18 and over. They work in partnership with other service providers across Waltham Forest to provide a wide range of care to those with substance misuse issues. CDAT services include information and advice.

Christian Kitchen offers a soup van which runs every evening of the week. They serve soup followed by a hot meal.
Citizens Advice Waltham Forest (formerly Waltham Forest CAB) provides services face to face, over the telephone and by email and at outreach through specialist debt, welfare benefits and financial capability projects.
