The Anatolian Centre offer advice, social and cultural group for the Turkish/Kurdish community. Advice on benefits, health, housing rights, racial harassment, education and training. Support for new arrivals including English language courses. Turkish language school for 16-19 year olds. Women’s group. Elders day club with free meals.
Bangla Housing Association provide free welfare benefits and information advice service for the local community.
Branches is a hostel for homeless people in the area which also provides additional services including; Primary health care, Benefits Advice, Alcohol and Drugs Outreach, Employment Opportunities, Mental health support and Counselling for the homeless.
Christian Kitchen offers a soup van which runs every evening of the week. They serve soup followed by a hot meal.
Citizens Advice Waltham Forest (formerly Waltham Forest CAB) provides services face to face, over the telephone and by email and at outreach through specialist debt, welfare benefits and financial capability projects. ELCLAS (East London Community Law Service) provide a One Stop advice service to refugees of various nationalities fleeing from civil wars and persecutions in their home countries.
ELMS work with people in Waltham Forest and support their mental health needs.
The Kiran Project provides safe, temporary accommodation to Asian women and their children and is the only agency of its kind in the London Borough of Waltham Forest. This is a service provided by Asian women for Asian women and children.
Papworth Trust Waltham Forest provides free independent advice, information and practical support on housing, disability issues, care, and finances. We carry out free home visits for older and disabled people and their families and carers.
RAMFEL (Refugee and Migrant Forum of East London) work for asylum seekers, migrants, refugees, Black, Asian and ethnic minority communities and anyone experiencing discrimination.
