SENDIASS Officer and Care & Community Advocate – 4 days a week – £29,875 pro rata
The role consists of two areas of responsibility and the post holder is expected to work flexibly between the two roles in order to meet the service demand.
SENDIASS Officer – job summary
To deliver a good quality and holistic Special Educational Needs or Disability Information, Advice and Support (SENDIASS) Service for parents, carers and young people with SEN and/or disabilities. To participate in the support and monitoring of independent support volunteers who work with parents, carers and young people.
Care and Community Advocate – job summary
To provide care and community advocacy support under the Care Act (2015) to residents in need, including older people and those with organic mental health problems. To ensure that service users are able to make informed choices and have their views and opinions heard regarding matters that are important to them maximising the use of self-help information and advice solutions. To embrace change and champion digital services.
