Title: Money Matters Coach
Hours: 22.5 hours per week (3 days)
Salary: £29,875 pro rata
Reports to: Team Leader or Project Supervisor
Role purpose: Tackling disadvantage and the promotion of social inclusion through an integrated money, debt and employment advice service which will seek to assist individuals in challenging situations. To enable clients to reduce and/or better manage personal debt, and maximise benefit entitlement and find pathways back into work. To work with mental health support networks and families in particular as well as council services to maximise support.To deliver services in a variety of ways including one to one, one to many, drop in and by appointment at outreach. To also deliver to agreed group workshops for clients and professionals both in the bureau and at outreach. To use all channels to deliver services and to make an assessment of the level of support required at first contact. To help clients where they can to make use of resources available on line and give targeted support as required. To embrace change and champion digital services.
