WALTHAM FOREST CITIZENS ADVICE BUREAU

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Waltham Forest Citizens’ Advice Bureau invites local residents or people with a connection to the borough to join us for our Annual General Meeting.  Please RSVP by email to admin@walthamforestcab.org.uk

The purpose of the meeting is to elect persons to serve as Members, Trustees and Directors of the Charity until its next AGM.  Nominations are therefore invited from residents of the London Borough of Waltham Forest, aged 18 or over, who support the activities of the Charity.  Nomination forms are available from:  CEO, Waltham Forest CAB, 220 Hoe Street, Walthamstow, London E17 3AY.  They should be completed and returned to the above office by 5.00pm on Monday 12 January.  They should be countersigned by two other persons, aged 18 or over, who live or work in Waltham Forest, and placed in envelopes marked “Nominations”  together with a personal statement of no more than 100 words explaining why you have the skills and abilities to perform the role of CAB Trustee.  The Charity, which is a member of the National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux and trades as Citizens Advice, has the following aims:  To ensure that the rights of individuals are not frustrated through lack of knowledge or the inability to communicate effectively and, to use its influence to ensure that government, organisations and firms adopt reasonable social policies.
